Use Building plastic and steel mesh to get the longest lasting result with no cracking. 5. Rebate the edge for the best join between your garden shed and the concrete slab. If you decide not to use a concrete slab you can attach your garden shed or sheds to solid pavers, a timber base or directly onto the ground using a ground anchor.

Solar powered shed setup UK – MPPT Upgrade

Pictures followed by video tour. (tour starts at 0.50) This is an update to the solar shed. The main upgrades are an MPPT controller that should be giving me a 10-30% increase in efficiency and a wattsup style meter so that I can view system output in realtime. Also added a 2nd spare car battery in parallel temporarily as it was just sat in the garage not doing anything. On a very cloudy day the system now makes 10-15w, and in the two days that I fitted the upgrade peaked at about 85w when the sun came out. On a clear day it should make the full 100w the system is capable of with ease now.

The SHED Experience Vol 1

Heres Part 1 of The SHED Experience Vol 1 we did here in Martinsville VA on January 22, 2010. It was filmed by Roderick Ross and edited by Rockbottom Productions. Delivering a shed with my custom built trailer. It’s easy to move sheds solo with the right equipment. This truck and trailer combo was the result of years of deliveries and experiance. I moved sheds full time for over 12 years. This trailer was designed by me and built by Creekside Welding out of Bedford PA. I’ve since quit the business but I miss those days. Note the side leveling feature while unloading the shed onto the level pad from unlevel ground. Also at the end when the truck is pulling forward you can see that the trailer stays straight without following the trucks path. This is due to a swinging tounge on the trailer that allowed me to drive and steer the trailer independent of the trucks steering pattern. The trailer had a full function remote control letting me stay safe distances away while moving heavy buildings as well as watch from the rear as I unloaded the sheds. Opperating while in the cab of the truck was also a big benefit. In my busiest year I was delivering close to 400 sheds per year. Many of them also included site prep like this shed had. I delivered solo on at least 95% of them. This shed was a 10×12. The largest I could move with this trailer was 14×36. The heaviest was around 14000 lbs. The trailer was rated at 21000 lbs and weighed in at 7000 lbs empty.
